DANAE C KIRK DMD MS CERT. ORTHO
Dr. Danae Kirk completed her undergraduate degree in Life Sciences at Queen’s University, followed by four years of dental school at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. During her dental studies, she discovered a passion for orthodontics and for helping children and adults achieve beautiful, confident smiles.
After earning her dental degree, Dr. Kirk was selected for a highly competitive residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Her research focused on the impact of 3D cone beam imaging on orthodontic treatment planning, earning her a Master’s degree in Dentistry.
Dr. Kirk stays at the forefront of orthodontic advancements as a member of the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the Canadian Dental Association.
At Kirk Orthodontics, with locations in Carleton Place and Arnprior, Dr. Kirk is excited to provide personalized orthodontic care to patients of all ages. Having grown up in Ottawa, she is thrilled to be practicing near her hometown, offering bilingual care in both English and French.
When she’s not at the office, Dr. Kirk enjoys cooking, traveling, hiking, and making memories with her husband, Dr. Christopher Kirk, and their two daughters.
CHRISTOPHER J KIRK DDS MS CERT. ORTHO
Dr. Christopher Kirk completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Ottawa and earned his dental degree from the University of Toronto. While in dental school, he joined the Canadian Armed Forces as a Dental Officer, where he was stationed in Petawawa, Ontario. After completing Basic Military Training and rising to the rank of Captain, he provided dental care to military members and their families—and heard every Star Trek joke imaginable.
His time in the military sparked a deep interest in orthodontics and interdisciplinary care, leading him to pursue specialty training in Orthodontics at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. During his residency, he conducted research on the accuracy of orthodontic records for treatment planning, earning a Master’s degree.
Dr. Kirk is dedicated to delivering the highest level of care by continuously learning about new technologies and advancements in orthodontics. He is a member of the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the Canadian Dental Association, among others.
Now practicing at Kirk Orthodontics in Carleton Place and Arnprior, Dr. Kirk is passionate about helping children, teens, and adults achieve their dream smiles using the latest advances in orthodontic care.
Outside the office, Dr. Kirk enjoys hiking, traveling, snowboarding, bouldering, distance running, woodworking, and exploring the world of cars. Most of all, he finds joy in family adventures with his wife and daughters.
